First there were newspapers, then radio, then TV, now the internet. Every ad campaign has been switching over to the net.
Think about how you view real estate today. When I see a "for sale" sign in front of a house , I immediately go view it on-line. I can easily view the interior. I get a much better idea of what that house is all about.
What other industries have moved their campaigns successfully to the web? Or should the question be, who hasn't. Steve Guttenridge's blog has a post on how critical video is. It is not focused on job seekers, but business. However, it explains how to get your video out there and why!
Job seekers, be ready and start recording. When the market opens my hunch is that cutting edge companies seeking great talent will surf for video. Or perhaps they already are.
