Holy cow! Who knew there were so many blogs out there. More and more every where you look. There are groups and communities of bloggers, corporate bloggers, independent bloggers galore.
Here's the formal definition of a weblog from wikipedia (but you knew this already, right?)
A blog (a contraction of the term weblog) is a website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.
I came across a listing on RiseSmart's website listing the Top Career Blogs. It can be overwhelming, like selecting an ice cream at Baskin Robbins on a hot summer day. Skim through a couple and add them to your reader. It is certainly less expensive than subscribing to a magazine.
Every body has a niche or an opinion. Just keep that in mind as you are thinking about putting some of that advice into action.
The wonderful thing about blogs is that they are in-the-moment. They are written in response to the current climate, which as we know, is changing rapidly. Many books are outdated by the time they are published.
