Sometimes HR (Human Resources) gets a bad rap. They are put in challenging situations by their organizations many times. However, there are a lot of super people in HR trying to do wonderful things.
I love straight shooters and Laurie Reuttiman is one. She blogs on Punk Rock HR. What I like about her is that she stays current with what's going on out there, she knows what she's talking about and she lets it fly. More than once, I've read posts that advocate for pro-job seeker policies and best practices.
Recruiters also get a bad rap sometimes. There are several recruiters I read regularly for their wisdom and insight. I respect Chernee Vitello of Whiting Consulting. She's got spunk and great depth of knowledge. Her blog is getting more attention these days and I am really enjoying the posts!
Brent Peterson is a well regarded job seeker resource, aka Interview Angel. If you are on Twitter, you will definitely see Brent! He understands how to use this tool! He also offers great insight on many job search topics.
